First Look: Spokane bomb; Goldman’s Facebook flop; Baby Doc is back; Giffords husband

A suspicious package along Spokane’s MLK Day Unity March parade route contained a powerful bomb capable of inflicting “multiple casualties,” according to the FBI.

Goldman Sachs is backing off plans to sell up to $1.5 billion in private Facebook shares, after fears the deal would violate U.S. securities laws. The shares will only be offered to non-U.S. clients.

Former dictator Jean-Claude ‘Baby Doc’ Duvalier has been arrested after a surprise return to Haiti. He will be charged with theft and misappropriation of funds after 15 years of corrupt rule that ended in 1986.

Gabrielle Giffords’ husband, Mark Kelly, gave his first TV interview to ABC’s Diane Sawyer, revealing the congresswoman had predicted she would be threatened with a gun:
