Bull mastiffs attack again

Two bull mastiff dogs that mauled a 10-year-old Seattle boy who hopped into their yard on Dec. 4 have attacked again.
The dogs were returned to their owners over the weekend (Dec. 18/19) with the agreement that they would keep the animals behind a fence and post “beware of dog” signs.
These precautions appear to have failed: Michele Schaab, a woman who lives in the South Seattle neighborhood, says she was out walking her dog on Monday evening when the male and female dogs broke out and attacked her and her dog at Brighton Playfield.
“Their dogs couldn’t keep up with my dog and so they turned on me. Quite honestly, it was probably one of the most terrifying things I’ve ever been through,” Schaab said.
Listen to her interview on Ross & Burbank today:
Don Jordan of Seattle Animal Control confirms the two mastiffs are back in custody, however the fate of the dogs has not been determined.
