Is that optimism I smell

Listen to Dave Ross Commentary:
Remember how speaker to be John Boehner promised to do things differently?
“It means ending the uncertainty in our economy and helping small businesses get back to work.”
Well he wasn’t kidding!
The election was only last Tuesday — but look at this!
“What we’re seeing is for the first time the news is better than expected, not worse than expected.”
Jill Schlesinger talking about that latest jobs report. Yes, we still have 6.2 million people who’ve been out of work six months — the unemployment rate ITSELF hasn’t changed, but you turn on the radio today, and all of a sudden, the analysts seem to be saying the same thing — actual private sector jobs are coming back:
“This wasn’t census workers. This wasn’t some injection of federal money.”
This was the private sector:
“151,000 is a pretty darn good month, and if you take the government out we were actually up 159,000. The private sector is doing even better.”
You see? And I think there can be only one conclusion… the Tea Party is already working its magic… Three days after election day, and the economy is getting all jobby again!
I don’t know how to explain it, all I know is that suddenly this morning this jobs report came out, and the sun is shining birds are chirping, and everyone’s upbeat.
Almost everyone:
“That’s not good enough. The unemployment rate is still unacceptably high and we’ve got a lot of work to do,” said President Obama.
Oh he’s just jealous.
