The latest Murray vs. Rossi poll
Incumbent Democratic Senator Patty Murray is slightly ahead this month in her bid for re-election.
In 10 previous surveys conducted since January, the candidates have been within two points of each other seven times. Murray’s support has ranged from 45 to 50 percent, while Rossi has picked up between 46 and 49 percent.
Other findings from the survey, 51 percent of voters in Washington at least somewhat favor repeal of the new national health care bill, including 44 percent who say they’re “strongly” in favor of it.
Voters in Washington are almost evenly divided on which party they trust more on the issues of health care, government corruption and the economy. Voters nationally trust Republicans more on all these issues.
