Detective Patrick Michaud told KIRO Radio’s Dori Monson how Seattle police was able to link a 30-year-man to a string of crimes dating back to 2014 ranging from rape to burglary in the U-District.

“It was all just good old fashioned police work,” Michaud said. “It took a while to be able to link him back to these things, but with the public’s help and being able to put the drawings of the suspect that we had months ago, we were able to finally get a good lead on this guy.”
A search warrant was served at the man’s home in the 800 block of NE 104th on Friday night, and he was arrested without incident, Michaud said.
