Go vegan, go naked?

UPDATED:

Showering in public supports a vegan lifestyle. At least that’s how one organization will try to get attention today in downtown Seattle to make a point.

A few PETA – People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals – members got naked on a sidewalk in Westlake and shower behind a banner that reads “Clean your conscience: Go vegan.” They say “one pound of meat equals six months of clean showers.”

This was part of a publicity event at Westlake Center today, leading up to the Seattle Green Festival this weekend.

Thanks for the photo, Twitter pal Michael Kaplan. Wait, are they wearing heels in the shower? And the photos below are from Chad Almquist.
