Pete Carroll drinks Dew, and more important Seahawks stuff

Discovering that Seattle Seahawks Coach Pete Carroll doesn’t drink coffee and instead prefers Mountain Dew is headline-worthy news for me. I don’t drink coffee either and I’m fueled by Diet Mountain Dew. Ahhhhh, cheers Pete!

Question: Are you confident that y’all have put together an OL?
Answer from Carroll: When we get Russell all squared away, that’ll be a big step for us
Q: What are your thoughts on Cushing drug test news?
A: Don’t know any of the facts, but it certainly takes away from the great season he had.
Q: Biggest adjustment from coaching college football to pro football for you?
A: There’s a lot more time to focus on football in the NFL
Q: You gonna wear those bright green jerseys this year?
A: I’m not!
Q: Whats your favorite place to eat in LA?
A: Uncle Bill’s
Q: What is the one area of the Seahawks’ game that you feel can improve right away?
A: Pass defense
Q: How has Whitehurst looked so far this spring?
A: He’s very talented and we’re really excited about his addition to the team
Q: Do you think Earl Thomas will be able to come in and contribute at a high level right away?
A: Immediately
Q: What do you enjoy most about living in Seattle versus LA?
A: the water and mountain views
Q: How long do you need to get the Hawks back to NFC West domination?
A: We’re aiming for year 1
Q: Who do you have winning the NBA Finals?
A: Lakers
Q: How does Qwest Field rank against the Coliseum?
A: Don’t know yet, can’t wait to see…only been there for a Sounders game so far
Q: Where’s your favorite place to get coffee in Seattle?
A: Don’t drink coffee! only Mountain Dew
