Abortion – live on Twitter and YouTube

One of the strengths of social media is that it lets anyone communicate with a world-wide audience about anything. But can you go too far?
Angie Jackson is using her Twitter page and YouTube to talk about her abortion:
I’m live tweeting my abortion on Twitter–not for some publicity stunt or for attention or to justify this to myself, I am at peace with my decision. I’m doing this to demystify abortion. I’m doing this so that other women know, ‘Hey, it’s not nearly as terrifying as I had myself worked up thinking it was.’ It’s just not that bad. This is nothing compared to childbirth, compared to labor, or, for me and my risks, late stage pregnancy.
The reaction the 27-year-old Florida woman is receiving has ranged from death threats, to being condemned after taking a pill to induce an abortion, to receiving offers from those who want to adopt her four-year-old son with special needs.
She seems surprised that people would have a negative reaction, and she talks about that on her blog.
Your thoughts on whether you think she’s helping others by telling her experience with ending a pregnancy?
