Search for “Growing Pains” star

A top trending topic on most social media sites today has been the search for a 41-year-old actor Andrew Koenig.
He was on the show “Growing Pains,” playing the not-so-bright character Richard “Boner” Stabone, best friend to Kirk Cameron’s lead character, Mike Seaver. I didn’t know, until this story started going around, that Koenig is also the son of Walter Koenig – Chekov from the original “Star Trek” TV series with William Shatner.
He was last seen in Vancouver, BC on Valentine’s day. Friends and family report he has been “despondent” and they’re worried about him.

Koenig’s Hollywood peers have begun spreading the news of his disappearance via social-networking sites. Alyssa Milano, Kevin Smith, Alyson Hannigan and Sarah Silverman have all sent out messages on their Twitter accounts about the search for him.
