Open letter to Trump fans

An open letter to Trump fans upset that I’ve been critical of him (originally posted as a response to “James” on Facebook & slightly modified):
James, you need to define what you think makes an “idiotic Trump rant” particularly since I’ve defended him on things I thought he deserved defended on (so I’m clearly not blindly anti-Trump).
Do people not deserve Trump’s background like all the others? Is it not relevant that he supported greater government power to seize private property? That he donated to Reid, Pelosi, & Hillary-even said he “owned them” along with others? Is it relevant he couldn’t name a single thing he’d done with those “owned” politicians (such as a single policy that would help America be great again) other than insist Hillary attend his wedding? Is it okay to point out he praised Hillary as Secretary of State (something I’ve criticized Jeb Bush for as well)? Or that while he now identifies as “pro-life” was a short time ago “very pro choice” and hasn’t articulated what led to the change? Is it relevant that while America’s been in decline he’s not participated in any way in efforts to reverse that decline until now when he seeks the nation’s highest post a position which, perhaps coincidentally, would feed Mr Trump’s sense of self-importance?
My point is, I share the negative about Trump because I think it matters. Same for all the others (who do you think posted the critical stories about Fiorina on KTTH.com? Hint: me because I want people to be as informed as possible-the stakes are very high).
If you think a hit on Trump is unfair, by all means challenge me & let me know and be specific as to why. BUT if you’re upset about hearing negative things about Trump merely because you don’t want to hear them, the person you need to challenge is yourself.
