Lowland snow dusts pockets of Western Washington

A rain-snow mix fell across Seattle and other areas of Western Washington on Friday.

Snow showers were expected at elevations of 500 or higher. But before noon on Friday, much of the Puget Sound region was seeing slushy rain or snow.
The snow didn’t last long. Snow showers turned to rain and hail in some places.
