Tacoma Police searching for suspects in drive-by shooting

Tacoma Police hope the public recognizes the suspects involved in a drive-by shooting.
Detectives say Oct. 2, at 7:38 p.m., a white Volkswagon Jetta and a gray Honda Accord were loitering in the parking lot of Billy B’s Tavern at 1213 S 56th Street.
The pictured red Honda Civic stopped at a traffic light in front of the parking lot, and the people in the white Jetta and gray Accord opened fire on it. A passenger in the red Civic returned fire.
Detectives are looking for information regarding all vehicles involved, as well as the shooters and other vehicle occupants.
Lacey Police on the hunt for credit card thieves
Lacey Police need the public’s help to locate three suspects accused of using or attempting to use stolen credit cards in Lacey and Olympia.
Investigators say the credit cards were stolen from a victim during an auto theft at Eagle’s Pride Golf Course.

Suspect arrested for 40th time in Bellingham drug bust
Bellingham Police say they’ve arrested a drug dealer and seized over 2,000 suspected fentanyl pills.
According to Bellingham Police, Oct. 19, before midnight, an officer noticed a blue Ford Ranger near Telegraph and Meridian Streets.
Police say the person in the truck was known to the officer to have felony warrants for his arrest. The suspect saw the officer and tried to park his car and walk away from the truck when he saw the police car. The officer followed the suspect, and he was arrested for his warrants.
The officer found over 132.5 suspected fentanyl pills, $87 cash, 2.5 grams of fentanyl powder, and 5 grams of methamphetamine on the suspect’s person.
The K-9 Prowl alerted officers to narcotics odor on the Ford Ranger. Officers obtained a search warrant and found in the truck:
- 1,963.5 pills of suspected fentanyl (commonly known as ‘blues’)
- 8 buprenorphine hydrochloride pills
- $16,807 in US currency, seized as drug proceeds
- 1 Walther handgun
The suspect was booked on four counts of possessing a controlled substance with intent to deliver, unlawful possession of a firearm, and prohibited counterfeit substances.
Police say at least one of his warrants was also for possession with intent to deliver from 2020. In that case, he was found with five plus ounces of heroin, 12+ grams of heroin, 319 suspected fentanyl pills, and $899 in cash.
This suspect has been arrested by BPD 39 times prior for crimes like burglary, theft, trespass, obstructing, narcotics violations, and warrants. He is in jail now on $190,000 bail.
Everett apartment manager finds $1.5 million worth of drugs
$1.5 million worth of drugs was seized from an Everett apartment, according to a press release from the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
An apartment manager was processing an eviction when they discovered the drugs in the apartment Wednesday, Oct. 19.
The Snohomish Regional Drug Task Force recovered thousands of grams of heroin, fentanyl powder and pills, cocaine, over 21,000 grams of methamphetamine, and over 100 gallons of ethanol.
A person of interest has been identified and the case is still under investigation.
Seattle Police investigating hit and run that killed 66-year-old woman
Police are looking for help finding a dark sedan involved in a woman’s death in south Seattle Friday night.
It’s believed the car hit and killed the 66-year-old woman on Rainier Avenue S near S Walden Street around 7:15 p.m.
Witnesses or anyone with information on the driver or car are asked to contact Seattle police.
