Rock star Randy Bachman reunited with beloved stolen guitar

William Long, who found a Gretsch guitar which was stolen from Canadian rock legend Randy Bachman in 1977, speaks during an interview with the Associated Press Friday, July 1, 2022, at Canadian Embassy in Tokyo. Self-employed investor Long used a small spot in the wood grain on the guitar’s front from its old images as “digital fingerprint” and tracked it down to a vintage guitar shop in Tokyo, and further search led him to find one TAKESHI played a Christmas song in his December 2019 YouTube video.
