Ursula: Listeners ‘touched her heart’ after father’s passing

“I want to say thank you — we have the most compassionate people who listen to this show.”

KIRO Newsradio host Ursula Reutin reflected on the passing of her father and thanked listeners for their support. She also highlighted the times he was able to join her on the air, from the fall of the Berlin Wall to the early days of the pandemic.

“Every single one of your messages I’ve read, and I’ve shared some with my family, and I got to tell you, that has kept me going,” Ursula said on The Gee and Ursula Show Thursday. “My dad lived a long, long time, 92, and we can only wish we all had that much time, but even at 92 it’s hard to say goodbye.”
