A second Amazon Go store opened in downtown Seattle Monday.
The store is at Fifth Avenue and Marion Street, a mile from the first one near the Amazon Spheres. Amazon made the announcement about the new location a few months ago, but the windows were covered at the time.

On Monday morning, the lights were on and the layout of the store could be seen as well as the products they will sell. The store opened for customers at 7 a.m.
Like the first store, the new Amazon Go will also run with no lines or checkouts, meaning you don’t need cash or credit cards to shop there. Shoppers use a smartphone app that is scanned at the front door. The app then automatically tracks what is picked up and then charges the shopper after they leave the store.
The new store is smaller than the original one at 1,450 square feet and does not have liquor aisle or in-store kitchen like the original location. Otherwise, the products are similar, with ready-to-eat breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack options as well as Amazon Meal Kits.
