Super Bowl ticket on average will cost you $4K

The 12th Man has proven there is no ticket too expensive to see their beloved Seahawks. Now with Seattle on its way to the Super Bowl, fans will have to get ready to shell out even more cash if they want to see the game in person.
Tickets at face-value have long been sold out for Super Bowl XLVIII at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. But resale tickets are available for, on average, $4,692, according to TiqIq.com.
According to Forbes, with these average prices it will be the most expensive Super Bowl tickets available on the secondary market in the last six years, immediately following the NFC and AFC Championships.
But tickets wouldn’t be the only price-tag that sets you back. Travel and hotel rates have been climbing for that weekend.

Homeowners are charging anywhere from $750 a night for a small studio apartment to $10,000 a night for a mansion Super Bowl weekend.
