Marshawn Lynch under investigation for allegations of assault, property damage

Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is under investigation for allegations of assault and personal property damage, according to the Bellevue Police Department.

Lynch has not been arrested, but a Bellevue police spokesperson said they’re investigating an incident at a downtown Bellevue apartment complex on August 10 at 2:30 a.m.

No domestic violence or sexual assault was involved in the allegation made by a woman who identified Lynch as a suspect, according to BPD.

Police said investigators are in the process of gathering facts of the alleged incident, including verifying whether or not Lynch was involved.

No further details were made available.
