Enough evidence to prove Trump committed a crime, says Rep. Heck

In an appearance on CNN’s “Tonight with Don Lemon,” Washington state Representative Denny Heck (D) said he expects more bombshells after new court filings on Friday that link President Trump to a federal crime.

“I think there is a lot more to come and I think there are more indictments,” said Heck, who sits on the House Intelligence Committee.

He also said he believes there’s now enough evidence to prove that Trump has committed a crime.

Heck told Lemon both the Intelligence Committee and Judiciary Committee will try to tie up loose ends when the Democrats take control of the House in January.

“We’re going to fully exercise our responsibility under Article 1 of the Constitution to provide a check and balance on the administration and hold it accountable where appropriate,” Heck said.
