Seattle’s new XFL team has already got themselves a name and a logo, and now the Seattle Dragons are hiring for various position to make sure people actually show up for the games.

At the moment the Seattle Dragons are hiring a business strategy manager, a field producer and editor, and a business development manager, among others. The jobs page promises that the XFL “will reimagine football for the 21st century when it kicks off in early 2020. Delivering authentic, high-energy football for the whole family at an affordable price, the XFL will offer fast-paced games with fewer play stoppages and simpler rules.”

The Seattle Dragons will debut when the XFL relaunches in February 2020 and will call CenturyLink Field home, and plan to announce the team’s uniforms around Thanksgiving. The franchise previously announced that former Seahawks quarterback and assistant coach Jim Zorn, who was also a head coach in the NFL, will be the Dragons’ first coach and general manager.

Seattle announcer headed to SF for Golden State Warriors

Upon announcing the team name, the Seattle Dragons described themselves as “Rising from the turbulent sea. Beneath the darkening skies of their weather-hardened home. Relentless, ruthless, ravenous. Not of mythology, but of muscle and might. Not of folklore, but of football. This is your darkest fantasy, in cleats. The Seattle Dragons. Breathing fire.”

It’s not clear if job applicants will also have to live up to that standard.
