Gov. Inslee refocuses on Washington after presidential campaign

While the Facebook page is short on details, the website for The Riveter, a coworking space for women in Seattle, said they are hosting the campaign event at Capitol Hill music venue Chop Suey. The Riveter is inviting all candidates “who stand for equity” to speak at their events. The Facebook event page posted by Harris’ campiagn confirms it is a fundraiser:

You’re one of the most important supporters of Senator Kamala Harris’ historic campaign for president. That’s why we’re inviting you to attend an official grassroots fundraiser with Sen. Harris!

The fundraising event will happen from 5-7 p.m. General tickets have already sold out, but higher-level tickets may still be available.

Harris is currently the junior senator from California after previously serving as the district attorney of San Francisco as well as being the first woman and first African-American to serve as attorney general in California. She announced her candidacy back in January.
