Bill Gates is making headlines for not ruling out a vote for President Trump in 2020.

At a New York Times conference, when asked who he would choose between Senator Elizabeth Warren and Trump, the Microsoft didn’t want to commit and said he’d vote for the more professional candidate, leaving his decision open to interpretation.

It was all over her wealth tax plan and what he thinks is a close-minded political approach.

“I’m not sure how open-minded she is or that she’d be willing to sit down with somebody who has large amounts of money,” Gates said.

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos has recently expressed a similar sentiment. The reaction is due in part to Warren’s plan for a 2 percent annual levy on household wealth above $50 million, with another 1 percent tax for those above $1 billion, which would impact approximately 75,000 households and raise $2.75 trillion over a decade, the Wall Street Journal reported.

“If I had to pay $20 billion that’s fine, but when you say I should pay $100 billion, OK then I’m starting to do a little math over what I’d have left over. I’m just kidding,” Gates said.

Warren responded on Twitter, saying she’d like to discuss the plan with Gates. And today, Gates Tweeted back saying he’s “willing to talk.”

The headline has been changed in this article. The previous version read: “Bill Gates says he’d consider Trump in 2020, if he faced Elizabeth Warren”
