Please check details with your child’s school. Here’s what we know about closures:

Governor Jay Inslee announced Friday that all K-12 public and private schools in Washington state must be closed for six weeks, from Tuesday, March 17 until at least April 24.

Colleges will be allowed to keep dormitories, food service, research, and medical services open.

Schools have until March 17 to close. Please check with your student’s school district for specifics.

The state office of public instruction has a list of guidelines for distance learning.

Scholastic has launched a “Learn at Home” website for students at each grade level from Pre-K to grades 6+ with a lesson plan each day.
