The Shoreline field hospital is getting ready to take coronavirus patients.
There are enclosed exam rooms and individual open-air housing units inside this giant temporary hospital on a Shoreline soccer field.
“We are proud that our communities pulled together to stand up a facility like this,” Constantine said.
This is what King County Executive Dow Constantine calls an assessment and recovery center.
This hospital is designed to take the overflow from regular hospitals so they can handle the most urgent cases.
There will be security on site to make sure that those with the virus stay on site until they are healthy.
