Governor Inslee releases recovery plan to reopen Washington
KIRO Radio’s Dave Ross and reporter Aaron Granillo cover Governor Jay Inslee’s recovery plan, which he released Tuesday night, to reopen Washington state in the coming weeks and months.
Things to watch? It will be a slow process, more like the turning of a dial than the flipping of a switch, Inslee said. And certain industries will get priority over others. Construction projects, outdoor recreation, and elective surgeries may be able to return sooner rather than later if the current health modeling holds up.
Plus, testing and tracking! How comfortable do you feel with the government keeping a closer eye on person-to-person transmission?
