Rantz: Fed up Seattle police officer quits, tells BLM agitator ‘you guys won’

A fed-up Seattle police officer told a Black Lives Matter activist that he’s quitting in a now-viral video. This comes after weeks of intense and violent anti-cop demonstrations and riots from unreasonable activists and criminals.

The video footage was shared on Twitter over the weekend and quickly went viral.

The unidentified officer pulls up to a demonstration in his patrol vehicle and has a brief conversation with an activist. Exasperated — or, perhaps, finally feeling freed — the officer says, “I am leaving this department. You guys won.”

Another Seattle police officer quits

As the officer pulls up, the conversation between him and the protester starts off simple. He asks the man if he’s having a good day. It immediately turns negative, with the anti-cop goon responding, “Not really. You’re around.”

The officer then responds: “Oh, well, I’m sorry for that. But don’t worry, man. Guess what? I’m leaving. You guys won … two months, baby. I’m out.”

After some back and forth, the officer says he’s feeling great about the move.

He snapped. It was controlled and not especially outrageous but he snapped. I can’t blame him. No reasonable person should blame him for his response. He’s taken endless abuse like so many other cops have. Indeed, the anti-cop activist in the video taunts the officer by calling him a “pig” and chanting “oink, oink.”

This isn’t the only officer upset

This officer isn’t the only one hurting due to the disgusting way he’s been treated by the public he’s willing to die serving.

This city has turned hating cops into a sport. The city council doesn’t care about these officers, willing to fire up to 100 officers of color in the name of Black Lives Matter. Yeah, right. And we shouldn’t forget Councilmember Teresa Mosqueda defending a protester threatening to murder officers if they didn’t kill themselves.

He’s also not the only Seattle officer leaving the department. The already depleted force is seeing officers submitting job applications to neighboring departments left and right. This will only get worse and this city is going to truly realize what life will be like without a police department.
