Four arrests were made by Seattle police Monday night during a demonstration in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood.

The Seattle Police Department reports that around 8 p.m., officers witnessed members of a demonstration damage an ATM in the 1600 block of Broadway. The group continued on and smashed windows of a Starbucks at 12th Avenue and Columbia. At that time, police moved in and made three arrests — one for property damage, and two for obstructing a law enforcement officer.

More property damage to businesses and residences followed, and a fourth person was arrested for property damage before the group returned to Cal Anderson Park.

All four individuals arrested were booked into King County Jail.

The KIRO Radio Newsdesk contributed to this report.
