Police in Tacoma are investigating a shooting on Monday night that left one man dead and another injured.

Around 7:30 p.m., a 20-year-old man walked into a business in the 1400 block of South Sprague Avenue with gunshot wounds. KIRO 7 reports the man told the people inside he and his friend had been shot while sitting in a parked car.

Tacoma police say they found a car nearby with a second man inside. They performed life saving measures on the 22-year-old man until medics arrived, but he died at the scene.

The other man was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries.
