Seattle police arrested at least three people overnight protesting the death of Daunte Wright, a Black man shot and killed by a police officer outside Minneapolis.

A group of people were gathered outside of the Seattle Police Department’s West Precinct on Tuesday night for a vigil. On Twitter, the police say they gave multiple announcements, encouraging the group to remain peaceful and refrain from damaging property.

Two people were arrested Tuesday for graffiti, and one person was arrested for obstruction.

The night before, a group had vandalized and damaged multiple businesses in the downtown area as they moved toward the Pioneer Square neighborhood. Police gave them a warning to not block traffic and keep the demonstration peaceful.
