6:01 UPDATE: Expect transit service delays near 3 Av & Pike St, according to King County Metro.

5:46 UPDATE: Mariners fans making their way to Safeco Field. First pitch at 7:10. A lot of red on the map.

5:26 UPDATE: Tired of traffic on NB I-5 Albro to I-90? Consider Beacon Ave. South, MLK, Rainier Ave. S. … and Lake Washington Blvd comes with a view!

5:04 UPDATE: Elliott Ave. to 15th Ave. W is a viable option home (northbound), but the Ballard Bridge area is congested from Dravus to Market. In the southbound direction, 15th Ave. W looks pretty normal from Northgate, down Holman, and across the bridge. It jams up at Broad.

4:54 UPDATE: Stuck on SB I-5? Try Lake City Way or Sand Point Way! It’s all green on the map. Plus, you get a view of Lake. Wash or dinner at Dick’s before the M’s game.

4:48 UPDATE: NB I-5 from about Madison all the way to 175th in Shoreline is wide open! SB, on the other hand, is a mess.

4:44 UPDATE: Surface streets around Safeco Field, especially First Ave., are pretty busy. First pitch is 7:10 p.m. Let’s hope it clears up soon.

4:34 UPDATE: Surface streets are awful in Seattle. Pike, Pine, Union, University, Olive, Seneca, First, Second, Fifth are all solid red on the map.

4:28 UPDATE: Reminder, the Water Taxi West Seattle route has additional parking, including parking at Pier 2 with connecting shuttle service. $5.25 cash. More info here

4:25 UPDATE: 25 minute delay on SB I-5, says KIRO Radio traffic reporter Candy Harper. Surface streets in Seattle (Denny, Mercer, Fourth and Fifth Avenues are tough.

4:13 UPDATE: SB I-5 is solid from 145th into downtown Seattle. NB I-5 looks relatively clear right now.

4:08 UPDATE: If your plan is to escape on I-405, you will run into backups on I-405 between 520 and I-90. Both bridges are flowing in the EB direction.

4:04 UPDATE: Crash on EB West Seattle Bridge is cleared.

3:54 UPDATE: Bus now sitting on the shoulder on SB I-5 between Denny and the Convention Center. It’s out of the road, but still a problem for commuters.

3:41 UPDATE: Mariners traffic may have started early. SOLID backup on SB I-5 into downtown Seattle. Bus-car collision still blocking one lane near the Convention Center.

3:27 UPDATE: EB West Seattle Bridge is solid.

3:23 UPDATE: Right lane closed before the Denny south on-ramp on I-5 SB for collision.

3:15 UPDATE: I-5 HOV lanes open to all from Mercer Street to Corson. Surface streets in Seattle are getting worse. If you don’t have an exit plan, get one!

3:03 UPDATE: First and Fourth Avenues are backing up with people trying to leave work. Both bridges (I-90 and 520) are clear, but the on-ramps are starting to get busy.

2:49 UPDATE: Side streets in South Lake Union and up through Ballard are starting to get busy. Mercer, no surprise, is in the red on the traffic map. SB I-5 through Northgate is nearly bumper to bumper.
