Man shot, killed in downtown Seattle on Sunday night

A man was fatally shot in downtown Seattle on Sunday night.

According to the Seattle Police Department, officers patrolling in the area heard “multiple gunshots near 3rd Avenue and Pike Street” shortly before 9:30 p.m. A 35-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds on Pike Street.

The man was transported by medics to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition, but died at the hospital.

Police have yet to identify a suspect or motive behind the shooting.
