Seattle police are investigating after two people were shot Sunday evening in the Chinatown-International District.

At 4:55 p.m., according to SPD, a 911 caller reported a man had been shot in the 1200 block of South Jackson Street. Upon arrival, police found two victims, both had been shot in the leg. Officers applied tourniquets, then transferred care to Seattle Fire Department medics.

The victims, an approximately 35-year-old man and 40-year-old man, were transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. Both men were in stable condition.

Several witnesses, SPD says, provided differing suspect descriptions. Police searched the area but did not find anyone matching the descriptions.

Anyone with information can call the Violent Crimes Tip Line at 206-233-5000.
