Bellevue home slid off foundation and collapsed

A home in Bellevue slid off its foundation early Monday and collapsed.
The home is located in the 5000 Block of 139th Place Southeast. Bellevue police say everyone has been removed from the home. The two people who were rescued are safe, police report.
Bellevue police said 42 people and several pets from 17 other homes in the area had been evacuated. There have been no injuries reported.
The city’s fire department and Bellevue Utilities spent much of the day Monday searching for a water main break that caused flooding in the area.
Puget Sound Energy responded to check on a possible gas leak.
Crews worked to clean up the lower streets of water and mud. The area adjacent to the damaged home will not be accessible as it is still a risk.
As of 6:30 p.m., crews had restored water, gas, and power to all homes except seven that were deemed unsafe to return to right now. Street access at Southeast 51st Place and 139th Avenue Southeast was reopened to homeowners and emergency vehicles.
