The Stadium Station light-rail stop is shut down due to police activity at the Seattle Greyhound Bus Station nearby, a spokesperson with Sound Transit confirms.

Line trains are operating but not serving stations between SODO and International District.

Sound Transit is in the process of providing buses to people affected by the closure.

Commuters report seeing a man armed with a gun at the Greyhound Bus Station, although that is unconfirmed by Seattle Police Department.

KIRO Newsradio has reached out to SPD for clarification.

Update

The Stadium light rail stop is back open following police activity at the Greyhound Bus Station nearby.

Sound Transit says all Line 1 service has resumed normal service.

Editor’s note: A Sound Transit spokesperson told KIRO Newsradio, in error, that the SoDo Station had closed. This article has been updated to reflect the closure of the Stadium Station.
