AMBER Alert canceled for 8-year-old girl in child abduction on Aurora Ave.

Seattle Police department has issued an AMBER Alert for Kiya Matteson, last seen on Aurora Ave. N near the Bitter Lake neighborhood.
At around 3 a.m. Monday morning, Matteson’s mother exited the vehicle, at which point a 24-year-old black male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall with afro-styled hair and a white shirt, jumped into the dark blue 2022 Hyundai Venue and sped away on southbound Aurora Ave from the 12200 block.
Kiya Matteson is 8 years old, approximately 4 feet tall and weighing 40 pounds. She has blonde hair, blue eyes, and was last seen wearing purple pajamas. Seattle police describe the girl as having autism.
The Hyundai is registered to WA/CCS7881, although only temporary tags were on the vehicle.
