A Marysville man is charged with murder in connection to the death of a Lynnwood retiree.
Snohomish County Prosecutors charged 21-year-old Leif Gunnar Smith with first degree murder for his alleged involvement in a drug deal that turned deadly on April 5.
Court documents show 70-year-old Carl Bridgmon was sitting in his car at Daleway Park in Lynnwood and was caught in the middle of gunfire.
Prosecutors say Smith was driving a car and a backseat passenger fired the deadly shots.
According to Lynnwood Police, Bridgmon filmed the shooting and his death on his cellphone. Lynnwood Police said those images connect Smith to the crime.
The alleged shooter has not been caught. If you have information about the case, you are urged to call Everett Police at 425-670-5669.
