5.6-magnitude earthquake rumble off the coast of Oregon

A series of seven earthquakes that started off the Oregon coast were registered by the U.S. Geological Survey early Wednesday morning, June 15.
Happening over the course of more than four hours, the seven earthquakes, ranging from 3.8-magnitude to the largest 5.6-magnitude started at 2:54 a.m. and lasted until 7:01 a.m.
Earthquake early warning app now available in Washington
The closest of the quakes happened just 274 miles away from Newport, Ore.
No tsunami threat has been reported at this time.
