One of the rounds went through the wall and hit the girl in the leg as she was in bed.

Washington State Patrol make huge drug bust in Bellingham
The Washington State Patrol found over 200 fentanyl pills and an untraceable gun after a suspect crashed his car during a high-speed chase north of Bellingham.

According to the Bellingham Herald, the items were found in the trunk of 31-year-old Jeffrey Loren Eagleman’s crashed vehicle.

The Bellingham Herald says, according to documents from the Whatcom County County Superior Court, on Saturday, July 9, Troopers pulled over a white Honda Civic driven by Eagleman on southbound I-5 near Slater Road. The vehicle had no license plate or bumper.

Court documents say Troopers said that Eagleman appeared nervous, pale, sweaty, and had dilated pupils. They also reported seeing foil in the passenger seat and a silver briefcase in the back seat. Eagleman agreed to permit the Troopers to search the car, but instead of getting out, he threw it into gear and sped off.

Three Troopers gave chase and eventually caught him after Eagleman crashed the Honda Civic at Rural Road.

Eagleman tried running away but was caught and arrested.

According to court documents, after receiving a warrant, Troopers found more than 200 fentanyl pills and an untraceable 9mm pistol, documents state.

He was booked into the Whatcom County Jail on suspicion of attempting to elude police, DUI, possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm, and felony harassment.

Security guard stabbed man in Capitol Hill

Seattle Police arrested a security guard Monday afternoon in Capitol Hill for fighting with and stabbing a man after asking him to leave private property.

Seattle Police say multiple people called 911 reporting a security guard had stabbed a man in the 1600 block of Broadway.

Officers got on the scene and found a 25-year-old man with a stab wound to the collarbone. Seattle Fire Department medics took the injured man to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.

SPD says the investigation shows the security guard had confronted the stabbing victim about drinking and trespassing on private property outside a business.

SPD investigators believe the security guard escalated the confrontation to a physical fight, which led to the stabbing.

According to SPD, the security guard denied the stabbing or having a knife. Officers did find one in a break room, hidden under a bag of chips.

The 57-year-old security guard was booked into the King County Jail for assault.
