5 saved from Auburn river, bridge closed during rescue

Five people wound up in Green River in Auburn late Sunday night, leading to a rescue operation with multiple agencies coming together to help.
Puget Sound Fire, the Valley Regional Fire Authority, South King Fire and Rescue, and Medic One all assisted the Enumclaw Fire Department in the rescue.

Three kayakers rescued from Snoqualmie river
The rescue happened just after 9 p.m. on the Kummer bridge. Authorities closed the bridge to traffic in both directions as crews worked to get the five people out of the river.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
