The Crime Blotter: Domestic violence suspect in North Seattle fires gun at officers

 A suspect in a domestic violence incident shot at Seattle police officers in North Seattle Monday night.

Shortly before 11 p.m., officers were called to the 13200 block of Linden Avenue North to investigate a report of domestic violence.

While trying to take the man into custody, he fled from officers.

As officers tried to capture the man, the suspect shot at them, according to Seattle Police Chief Adrian Diaz.

No officers were hit by gunfire.

Police found the man a short time later and took him into custody.

One person dead in Thurston County

Thurston County Deputies responded to shots fired at a residence in the 4400 block of Libby Road NE at 10:30 p.m. Monday.

Deputies arrived on the scene, found a dead man, and detained two other suspects.

Thurston County Sheriff’s Detectives are investigating and say there is no active threat to the public regarding this investigation.

Auburn Police looking for suspects who stole tool worth $1,000

The Auburn Police Department is looking to identify two people suspected of stealing a $1,000 tool from the 2300 Block of Auburn Way S.

Cops investigate cosmetics crime caper

Lacey Police say a pair of thieves stole merchandise from Ulta Beauty.

Investigators say the man and woman stole two baskets of makeup and fragrances from Ulta Beauty at 1230 Marvin Rd and NE before driving off in a red Chevy Truck.

Lacey Police say at this time, there is probable cause to arrest both the man and woman for theft.



Cops looking for missing woman

The Missing Indigenous Person Alert has been issued by the Washington State Patrol.

Running Hawk was last seen Aug. 8 at 6:30 p.m. barefoot and crying loudly for help on State Route 305 near Port Madison Indian Reservation in Suquamish. She appeared to be distressed.

She got into a late 90’s green Dodge 2-door 2500 driven by a Hispanic man, bald, with flat facial features and a mustache.
