The Crime Blotter: Aberdeen Police search for armed and dangerous person of interest in shooting

Aberdeen Police say Sunday at 5 p.m., officers were dispatched to a report of a shooting that had just occurred in the 300 block of East State Street.

Aberdeen Officers arrived and found a 32-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds.

Officers started providing emergency care while securing the area for Aberdeen Fire Medic units to respond.

The 32-year-old male was transported to Grays Harbor Regional Hospital for emergency care.

Aberdeen Detectives were called to process the scene while patrol officers checked the area for the suspect.

Officers received information identifying 31-year-old Ricky Logan, an Aberdeen man, as a person of interest.

At this time, Logan is considered armed and dangerous.

Please call 911 if you see or have information on his location. At this point, the investigation is ongoing and active.

2 injured in Yesler Terrace shooting

Seattle police are investigating an early-morning shooting in the Yesler Terrace neighborhood.

The shooting happened on Boren Avenue South near Yesler Way, and 12th Avenue South at around 1 am.

Two people were shot. No word yet on their conditions, and police have not released any other details.

Tacoma man shot dead second homicide in 2 days

A homicide investigation is underway in Tacoma after police say a man was found shot dead in the street early this morning.

A Tacoma Fire Department crew spotted the person’s body just after 5 am at East 72nd and I streets, police reported on Twitter.

The man was declared dead at the scene– an investigation is underway, but no other details have been released.

It is the second homicide in the city in two days.

A woman with a headshot wound was found early Sunday morning in the 3700 block of South Cedar Street, a few blocks west of police headquarters.

The Tacoma News Tribune reports there have been at least 34 homicides in the city this year.
