Authorities are investigating after a body was found in Lake Washington overnight Thursday.

Rescue divers have recovered the body — found in the early morning just off the eastbound Interstate 90 bridge.

Avoid I-90 for the Seahawks game officials say, with westbound closed at Mercer Island this weekend

Seattle Fire responded to the scene and say that the person was dead by the time divers got there.

Traffic cameras from the Washington State Department of Transportation showed a fire truck ladder extended over the water as a line of cars waited behind emergency service vehicles.

KIRO 7 TV reports they were found at the mid-span of the bridge just east of Rainier Avenue S.

It’s not clear at the moment what happened.

No other details are available yet.
