Alaska Airlines announced a tentative agreement with the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA) on a new contract Friday.
The union representing Alaska Airlines pilots previously approved a “strike-authorization” measure in May 2022, but continued to work throughout negotiations.

The tentative agreement offers better pay, greater flexibility, better benefits, and job security, according to a release from Alaska Airlines.
Alaska’s pilots still need to vote on the contract before it’s approved.
Last week, Alaska’s Horizon pilots approved their new contract with the airline.
