Some northern WA schools delayed due to weather

School districts across Western Washington are making schedule changes due to cold weather and snow in some areas.

A full list of delays and closures below:

  • Port Angeles School District– 2 Hours Late, No preschool, AM/PM Buses on snow routes;
  • Sequim School District– 2 Hours Late, No preschool, AM/PM Buses on snow routes. Due to hazardous road conditions, for Tuesday, November 8, 2022. Sequim High School, Sequim Middle School, Helen Haller Elementary, Olympic Peninsula Academy, and Dungeness Virtual School will begin at 10:15 a.m. Greywolf Elementary will begin at 10:30 a.m. No bus service to Port Angeles
  • Stanwood School District– 2 Hours Late, No preschool, No out-of-district transportation. The late start will help allow bus drivers to carefully navigate area roads. Families on modified bus routes will be notified of changes to pick-up locations by the transportation department. There will be no preschool and no out-of-district transportation. There will be kindergarten. Afterschool activities and athletics will run at normal schedules.
