Series of fatal shootings strike Renton, Tacoma

Tacoma Police have arrested a suspect following a double homicide Monday morning. Officers found two men shot to death on South 80th Street and South Hosmer Street.
The victims are between the ages of 35 to 45 years old.
“The 28-year-old male will soon be at the Pierce County Jail, booked in for two counts of murder in the first degree,” said Tacoma Police Detective Shelbie Boyd.
These resulted in homicide deaths numbers 38 and 39 of the year for Tacoma.

Meanwhile, Renton Police are currently investigating after two men were found dead Monday afternoon from gunshot wounds at The Landing.
Police said officers responded to a shots fired call before 3 p.m. outside the movie theater.
The incident appeared to be a murder-suicide, according to witnesses.
Detectives were on the scene gathering evidence.
Police stated there is no threat to the public.
