In an effort to take unwanted guns off the streets, Everett Police are holding their first “Guns for Gift Cards” in a few weeks.

Residents of Everett and Snohomish County will be able to exchange eligible guns for prepaid VISA gift cards Saturday, Dec. 17.

Everett residents can bring their guns to the South Precinct located at 1121 SE Everett Mall Way, Everett, WA from 10 a.m. until noon. Those who live in Snohomish County have a noon-2 p.m. window.

The “Guns for Gift Cards” event is the first of its kind by the Everett Police.
