Power is back on after an outage in North Seattle impacted approximately 18,000 customers, Seattle City Light (SCL) reported Wednesday afternoon.
A spokesperson with SCL told KIRO Newsradio the outage was due to routine testing.
The utility reported the outages on its X and Facebook pages just after 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and added that crews responded to fix the problem.
SCL also reported in its post that its outage map is not available due to “technical issues.”
Users can reach the outage map, but the utility reported “The information shown does not reflect current outage conditions.” That means customers, at this time, won’t be able to look up or follow which specific neighborhoods are most affected.
