KIRO Radio’s holiday play broadcast schedule

In celebration of the holidays, KIRO Radio will be air the following radio play broadcasts this week:

Tues. 7-9 p.m.: Miracle on 34th Street
Weds. 7-9 p.m.: The Bishop’s Wife
Thurs. 7-9 p.m.: A Christmas Carol
Fri. 7-9 p.m.: It’s A Wonderful Life

This year, KIRO Radio, Seattle Radio Theatre, and Town Hall Seattle brought you a classic 1930s live radio performance of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” on Dec. 9.

Dave Ross played Ebenezer Scrooge, with KIRO Radio’s Colleen O’Brien, Candy Harper, Drew Barth and Aaron Mason joining in with other Northwest favorites Tim Haeck, John Maynard, Tracey Conway, John Curley, Jim Dever, Bill Wixey and Dolores Rogers.

John Engerman played live music and accompanied The Jim French Singers (Aaron Mason, Henry Jennings and Sophia Banel); Curtis Takahashi performed live sound effects; and the show was produced and directed by Feliks Banel.
