Update: Paul Story was arrested the day after this story aired on the Ron and Don Show.

An anonymous tip was called into the police department Friday, April 28. Story was located at a homeless encampment in Seattle near East Marginal Way and Alaskan Way.

“We wasted no time in placing Mr. Story under arrest,” said Sgt. Sean Whitcomb. “Mr. Story should be on his way to King County Jail … He is a prolific offender with an extensive criminal history.”

Whitcomb said that prosecutors believe that have a good case against Story after he attacked a man at a Seattle marina.

Original story: April 27, 2017

Weeks after the Ron and Don Show featured the incident surrounding suspect Paul Story, the alleged attacker is still on the loose.

Now, Washington’s Most Wanted and Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound are teaming up to help bring him in. Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to his reward and capture. Call 1-800-222-TIPS or use the P-3 Tips App if you have any information. He is considered armed and dangerous.

RELATED: Charges filed for Paul Story after police release him

Paul David Story, 44, has a history with Seattle-area law enforcement. He has been booked 23 times since 1993, and has had 10 warrants for his arrest over the years. Many of those previous incidents involve trespassing and theft, according to a recent police report.

The most recent incident involves Paul Story allegedly running into a boat owner at a Seattle marina while attempting to steal food from a boathouse. That led to an attack, and firefighters spending considerable time trying to fish Story out of the Duwamish River. He has since been charged with first-degree burglary in King County Superior Court. But after the police department “dropped the ball” and released him, he remains on the loose.

Washington’s Most Wanted will air a feature on Paul Story on Q13 FOX at 11 p.m. Friday, and at 10 p.m. Saturday on JOEtv.

Paul Story is a white male, 6 feet tall and 180 pounds. He is missing his left hand. He has “El Diablo” tattooed on the right side of his neck. He sometimes goes by the nickname “One Hand Pablo.” According to Washington’s Most Wanted, he may be hanging around a Seattle-area homeless encampment, RV or on the streets in downtown Seattle.
