The 3.3 earthquake was recorded around 12:20 p.m. A 1.5 magnitude quake occurred about 11 minutes later; followed by a 2.0. The quakes kept coming. A total of seven earthquakes were recorded in the area over Wednesday afternoon.
The quakes were recorded between 23-26 kilometers below ground underneath the Sinclair Inlet, just off of the shores of Bremerton’s Manette neighborhood. Two were below Manchester State Park. That is directly under the path of the Seattle-Bremerton ferry route, between Manette and Bainbridge Island.
Though a Reddit user said they felt shaking in Bellevue, another person in downtown Seattle didn’t feel a thing.
