Local real estate company Zillow wasn’t satisfied to just analyze which U. S. cities were the best for trick-or-treating, it also broke down local neighborhoods to find the ultimate candy corners of Seattle.

This year’s top five best Seattle neighborhoods for kids to snatch up the best candy are:

• Laurelhurst

• Madison Park

• Queen Anne

• Phinney Ridge

• Ravenna

The list is somewhat of a surprise, with Wallingford and Loyal Heights being knocked off after holding their titles for three years straight.

Zillow took into account four factors to come to its conclusion: crime rates, housing density, average home price, and the population of kids under 15.

While the five are notable neighborhoods for trick-or-treating, it should be noted that Seattle is in a Halloween crisis, and could lose its status in the top 20 Halloween towns in the nation.
